AVOID AT ALL COSTS: If I could leave zero stars I would. Fabian Videla and the Smarter Remodeling company are not to be trusted. They do not stand behind their work. We paid them $18,315 to install a front door system at our house. The door was installed backwards and the internal parts to the door have failed. Fabian has been to our house twice over the last year to access the issue. We have had the door manufacturer's representative to our house to access the issue. The manufacturer's representative said the door was installed backwards and gave an estimate to fix the problem. We gave the estimate to Fabian and asked him to call the rep if he needed further clarification. He has done nothing. He avoids all contact as this point despite his repeated promises to fix the problem. We paid Smarter Remodeling $190,000 in total renovation costs; the project took longer than imaginable; and in the end Fabian will not make good on improper work.

They called once .Said they'd be here on Tuesday and haven't heard from them since.

Smarter investment remolded my moms house with great care a precision. They were very professional, clean, and made my mother feel comfortable which was #1 goal as I was not always able to be onsite during renovations. Joe personally came by daily to check progress and resolve any issue or questions we had. I would highly recommend Smarter Investments for anyone wanting an honest, professional, knowledgeable contractor.

Joe was the project manager on our whole house make-over. The whole team worked hard to get the job done. Whenever a problem arose, as they will on any remodel, we could count on Joe to work with us until we all were satisfied with the outcome. You can't ask for any better than that.

Paul was our design rep, he was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. The whole crew did top notch work! You could tell the quality of the work we had done far exceeded the work done at a neighbor's by a different company. We were very pleased with the speed and professionalism. We will use Smarter Remodeling again for any future projects and highly recommend them. Thank you Paul for making it as easy and stress free.

I recommend Smarter Remodel. I am very pleased with the work they did. I had a wall removed and a sunken floor raised to one height. The end result is beautiful.

From the initial visit to the final day, working with the team at Smarter Remodeling has been a truly great experience. Smarter Rem did our guest bathroom. The job took approx. 10 days. Fair price, quality workmanship, prompt and courteous workers. David the project manager, oversaw the entire job and always kept me informed of the progress. I would recommend Smarter Remodeling to anyone looking for a fair and professional contractor.

Gave me a good price. I accepted. Drawings made, permits issued within a reasonable time frame, construction proceeded speedily, all work was done in a timely manner. The employees were sensitive to keeping my property clear and clean. I was very pleased with the way the jobs were done and the behavior of the employees. Love the job they did and can't wait to use the space. Was quite pleased with the reasonable price and the quality of their work. Will recommend them to friends and neighbors gladly.

Smarter Remodeling did a mother in law suite for me. The initial design was done in 3-D and really helped my wife see the way the project would look. We really appreciated the detailed proposal in the begining it really set the tone for the project and allowed us all to be on the same page through ought the build. I would highly recommend them for your next room addition project. Pricing was good as well after comparing several bids we felt they really gave us an upfront accurate price.

I have used Smarter Investment several times. I have had them re-roof my office building, update my kitchen and bathroom, put new flooring into my home, and to renovate a foreclosed house we purchased for my son. They performed an excellent job on all the properties. Their employees worked efficiently and cleaned up after the projects. Fabian Videla was involved in every phase of all the projects, making sure our expectations were met. I would highly recommend them..
