My contractor for my newly built house got smink to put the electric in my NEW house and it's been a nightmare. Each room goes black every time i plug in an iron or portable item so constantly I need to go switch the box switches back on. I plug in an iron and my room goes dark. I put a small heater on my inside patio and it won't work , I have to plug it in the house and run extentions out to the patio. I never had to do this in any house i have lived in but Mr smink won't do anything,about this as he keeps saying nothing is wrong??? Does he think I have never lived in a house before . I even asked to give me extra amps etc for the patio , put in this house which they did so I would have more than enough coverage. I lived in my previous house this same size and there was three of us with nNO problems in a 25 yr old house and less amperage than my current house but now with just me here in a brand new house I am constantly in the box flipping switches here with less usage now as I am alone ,,what sense does that make ? And mr smink won't fix it . I am now forced since he wont fix this problem to have to call an attorney now as it's been a year and he has no idea what is wrong and won't do anything .he had the nerve to say he would charge $75 to just come to my house from now on. Why bother to come I say as he comes and leaves within 1/2 hour aying nothing is wrong ?? I had more extra ampage put in this house yet nothing is working right. I should be able to plug in an iron , the tv , and two lamps without everything going dark considering i have 2300 sq. Feet on one level with 250 amps. And the indoor patio I cannot heat or air condition as everything will shut off ! So I would never recommend him . I'm appalled he sees nothing wrong ! Has anyone ever experienced anything like this ?? He's never friendly and on top of this he put in my doorbell and the next day it wouldn't work .!! He came back and started all over to fix it . What does that say ??
