TERRIBLE !!!!! DO NOT USE!!!!
It was early December 2020 when Ray Smith began work in our basement and dust and debris has finally settled enough for us to being to clean-up. Ray claims to have 40 + years of experience in the construction business, however, his work does not dictate it. I got any eye infection from the dust and debris that Ray was supposed to contain and provide proper ventilation.
My partner had to stop Ray from working because the dust and debris had traveled to the main level causing my partner to have to open all the windows and turning on all the ceilings fans on the main level.
Provided a deposit of $2,000 to Ray in November, however, work did not being until December 2nd. Not even 24 hours in our home, did Ray request another payment of $2300.00 My partner being sucked into Ray's lies gave him the second payment and we never saw him again until after many conversation to recoup our money. We did get some of our money back, however not enough compared to what we endured.
Although an agreement was signed, it was vague. When Ray was asked to provide a step-by-step process to what he was doing, he became irritated and stated he did not feel comfortable working with jeykell and hyde! Wow, he was the jeykell and hyde. In addition to misrepresenting himself as a Christian!!!
Long story short, do not business with this man. He's disrespectful, not trust worthy, allows helper to come on the job while under the influence, not knowledgeable and a fraud!
I would give him a zero if possible, but I had to rate him in order to post my comment!!!!
