Contractor took cash payment for contracted price up front, never squired the Permit required by the City and built out new business interiors without meeting ADA or any other City requirements.
Once confront lied about obtaining the permits for nearly two months and then did not correct the work for additional 3 months, even then 5 months after job started and was to be completed according to James Smith the Owner he chose not complete the job. He constantly lied to the City Board, ourselves and Building owners as to progress or correcting the issues created by himself.
Items were also stolen from the Office and after stating he fired the individual we found the person still working at the site.
James Smith is a compulsive Liar, not to be trusted. We had to take him to Court were we prevailed for his actions.
His ability as a Contractor is non existent, nothing more then a Handyman and a Poor one at that!
