Great! This was a commercial project involving install of chemical fume hoods and moving of other heavy equipment for access. Lance & Co. came by our place twice to check the scope of the work and ensure they would have the necessary manpower and equipment. The guys arrived early and started promptly. Heavy lifting was required. They brought enough "big guys", a forklift and equipment hoist and manuevered them skillfully. Installation was completed in 3 hrs and with very little downtime. They were polite, responded immediately to our requests for minor changes in the plan and did not create any mess. I'd call that a major "win". I will hire them again if I get the opportunity.

Lance and his team are great. Extremely knowable and always professional. I have enjoyed working with them on several projects around my house. My first project with them was a re-roof at my home in Martinez. The most recent bathroom remodel they completed for me was painless from start to finish. I can't recommend them enough. Overall, highly recommended!

I have several reasons for highly recommending Smith & Son Inc. Our project was the installation of a composite deck over a worn out cement patio. Out of the three quotes we received, Lance Smith not only provided us with a detailed quote very quickly, he was the only individual we met with who followed up with us by telephone to discuss his quote. This discussion led to further clarity regarding our project and savings on the overall cost, putting us within our budget. Lance recommended a particular decking material which we are extremely pleased with. Knowing we were eager to start, Lance found a way to begin our project much sooner than expected. His three man crew was led by a seasoned and experienced foreman who not only guided his team, but also checked in with us frequently to make sure we were satisfied. Noe took great pride in his work and was very eager to please. They kept the work area tidy and safely stowed their equipment at the end of their workday. We are very happy with the finished project which exceeded our expectations. We would not hesitate to use Smith & Son again and would highly recommend them to friends and family.
