They have helped us with small yet complex jobs like door replacements requiring expert craftsmanship and trim work to this most recent balcony dry rot and termite damage repair and floor joist replacement project. The experience was excellent from start to finish. The team prepped the work area, obtained the city permit, opened the ceiling to access the damaged joists, and replaced deteriorated sub-fascia, blocking, and multiple joists with high-quality materials. They also reinforced the structure near the sliding glass door, replaced damaged beams and added additional support/structural integrity, applied antifungal treatment, and installed new sheetrock with a seamless texture match.

Throughout the process, communication was clear and consistent. Every step was explained, inspections were well-coordinated, and they kept us informed of any potential changes. The workmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding. Highly recommended!

We have used Herb and SNC Construction for three projects recently. They were done at a fair price, excellent quality workmanship and completed in a timely manner. We have used other contractors in the past but they were overpriced and took excessively long to complete the job.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Herb is the best contractor I've ever met...including me. I was in the construction business for over 20 years and he's what we should all aspire to be.

First off, he's a subject matter expert and has a very good stable of subs and suppliers. He always takes care of whatever needs to be done and most importantly, he almost always answers his phone or texts right away.

Lastly, he has a great, positive attitude and works very well with inspectors, architects which is key to getting your project over the line.

You'll be in great hands with Herb and I very highly recommend him for whatever size project you have.

SNC construction completed a large repair project in my house, and I'm very satisfied with the results. The project involved replacing a lot of damaged wood on exterior walls of the house, replacing several square meters of drywall, and painting the whole house. Well done! I've worked with Herb and SNC on multiple projects over the years. I feel extremely fortunate that I found him. I have a go to contractor and don't have any reasons or complaints to try to find an alternative.
My most recent project with Herb is a commercial project in downtown Saratoga. Herb has been there to help me from day 1 and there isn't anything that he is unwilling to do. He is aware of all the 'steps' and great at planning so there aren't many delays. Commercial projects have many more things to consider then Residential projects and Herb has enough experience that he can handle either type of job.
I am very happy with my relationship with Herb. He is the type of contractor that becomes a friend and wishes you happy holidays every year. I look forward to many more years and projects with him.

Herb and his team helped us repair damaged wood in various areas throughout the exterior of our new home. The previous owners didn’t make repairs when needed so we were left with a mess. Herb made recommendations on what we should repair now and what could wait. We trusted his expertise and when additional damage was found, he were clear in how they plan on repairing it and what it meant for us. It was a great experience working with Herb and his team and we plan on reaching back out to them for more wood repair work in the future as well as when we remodel our kitchen and bathrooms!

Herb managed a very large renovation project for our home. Complete remodel of our bathrooms and kitchen, new flooring throughout, redesigning a load bearing wall, new window installation and new interior and exterior doors. Herb has a wonderful team and they all hold each other accountable with quality workmanship. The level of expertise that Herb and his team brought to our project was well above our expectations. He worked very well with our designers and executed our design to perfection. We highly recommend SNC Construction and Herb's team.

Herb and his crew are very detailed and easy to work with, the project for my clients home was done professionally and in a timely manner. S.N.C.Construction

What a pleasure it was to work with Herbert Sanchez and his crew at S.N.C. Construction. They just finished a three month project for us that included retexturing the walls, painting, new doors, new lights, granite, and floors. They also fixed about 20 other miscellaneous things that needed fixing such as dry rot and garage trim. They started when they said they would start and the project ended in the three months despite those little added things.

Herbert has years of experience and he added valuable suggestions to the project. He is a great communicator and has excellent working relationships with his subcontractors. We were not living at the house during the project and he had subs coming and going 7 days a week since we were eager to move back home. Herbert is very responsive by phone and he is extremely flexible and gracious about changes.

Of course, in any project, there are always little things that need to be fixed or changed. Herbert was pleasant and cooperative about all of them. We have personally remodeled three houses and I can say hands down that S.N.C. construction are real professionals. The price was fair, the workmanship excellent and Herbert is a very trustworthy person. I wouldn’t hesitate to use S.N.C. construction for any future project.

Construction. Herb Sanchez the general contractor is absolutely one of the best contractors we have ever used in our 15 years living in the Bay Area. Herb uses very trustworthy and conscientious subcontractors that work very hard and do wonderful work! Herb returns phone calls and texts ina timely manner and always makes sure his clients are happy. The workers are meticulous with clean up on the job sight after the work is complete. Many times you hear horror stories about general contractors but not in this case! We were beyond happy. If you want a remodel done well and finished in a timely manner at a reasonable cost, then SNC is your answer. I highly recommend SNC for any remodel or renovation. A very happy customer! Would absolutely use them again for a home renovation. And will always refer them to any of my family bad friends who need work done in their homes.

I cannot rave enough about SNC construction. Our home burnt down in the Nuns fire in Glen Ellen, October 8, 2017. Herb was so incredibly kind and truly has rescued us. Not only is his staff professional and thorough, they have done excellent and timely work. He was considerably more affordable than any other contractor's bid I received. Many contractors are asking 3 times the normal amount they would have charged before the fire. SNC construction, unlike many of these contractors, has shown integrity. I can’t write enough good things about Herb. Besides being the nicest guy, he does great work, has fabulous sub contractors working for him, responds to texts and phone calls right away...the list goes on. We just finished a remodel here in Willow Glen. Herb kept us on time and on budget. The house looks fantastic! New floors, counter tops, tile work, fixtures and paint. Herb did a perfect job orchestrating and working on our project. I highly recommend him for any construction needs.

snc (herb sanchez) worked on a complete backyard project for me that included a 'very detailed' arbor with strict los gatos guidelines to meet, stamped concrete, fence replacement, trek decking, a fire pit and seating wall, gas line placement, electrical, and landscaping (planting).

as you can see by the 'five star' rating herb has done an excellent job on this project from bid to closure. he offers extremely fair pricing with a thorough bid andno surprises along the way. any change orders were well communicated and well outside the original scope of the project.

their craftsmanship was very professional as experienced in the build-out of a very articulate arbor coming off the back of the house. the sub-contractors that herb utilizes compliment his professionalism exactly. the project was completed right on time and any inquiries along the way were addressed immediately by herb.

SNC Construction delivered above and beyond our expectations!! We had a patio project that was stalled for almost a year due to various contractors that either flaked or were completely out of touch with what we were asking for. We became so frustrated that we posted a request for a contractor on Craigslist. In about 4 hours Herb called and said he would come over to evaluate what we wanted. Within a few weeks Herb brought in a committed architect, hardscape resources, electricians, roofers, a gas line contractor, and came in at a price that was well within my expectations of what it should cost. From the moment his crew came on board, they worked continuously and expertly to deliver a patio that is now the centerpiece of our home. Every step of the way Herb would show up and provide input into ways to make the project even more visually impactful. I really appreciated his input! Unbelievable craftsmanship from SNC finish carpenter Israel. He is a true master of his craft! Herb has provided Israel to all our projects which included not just the patio but a major exterior door project, restoring and painting our house exterior that had severely degraded, and painting the entire interior of the house. We even added an outdoor fireplace after the patio was built and it is even more stunning than I could have imagined. I am 100% committed to using SNC Construction for all my home building projects.

I have used SNC on Several Projects around my home, from complete room remodels to small modifications. When Herb is on the job there is no one better. He can take a verbal concept and convert it into a design. He finishes on time, and meets his commitments. I appreciate his willingness to take inputs in the middle of the job to do small adjustments and add design elements while in progress. They use quality seconds that take ownership of the results. I have nothing to say except for glowing and appreciative words for SNC Construction. They came in and saved the day from a prior unlicensed contractor, professing to be one. Their work especially from Lead Jesse Solorio is like art. And he has an amazing work ethic especially for this day in age. The went in and 'got er done' and done well - in record time I might add. From the photo, you will note that they have returned, once the weather is warmer and dryer, to stain this gorgeous, redwood deck .This staining is a work in progress as we speak. Worked with Herb on a 6 month project. I was very impressed with his professionalism and honesty. This project was a flip so I had daily contact with Herb. I have had experience with a number of other contractors so I know what is good and bad. Herb is driven. He likes to get up at who knows when...like 4am..and go to the gym. That gives him enough time to be at Home Depot at 7am and be on your job site by 8am in order to direct his crew. Herb goes above and beyond.
