The people who do the cleaning HAD been pretty good. The office people have been horribly useless since we started this service, however. Their follow up (even from supposed supervisorial personnel) was lousy, and the supposed willingness of this company to help with problems with my solar system is non-existent. I've been basically paying over $50 per month just for 3 times a year cleaning. Yes, they noticed a broken panel. BEFORE the first cleaning. However, though we have been customers for over a year, they have YET to help us with that problem.
And now, the cleaning people just broke a fountain we've owned for over 20 years that had great sentimental value as it was one of my (now deceased) mom's favorites. There is NO way they could have missed that they broke this thing. Yet, though I was home, they did not even have the common decency to let me know they broke it. I had to have a visiting relative point out the broken fountain to me on that same day they cleaned my panels.
I used to clean my panels myself. I'm disabled now, so I can no longer do that. I don't know how to find another company to clean my solar panels. But I am sure as hell going to start looking. This company is NOT worth it. All the shit about helping you "keep your solar system well maintained" is bullpucky. And the only positive they had (their friendly and efficient cleaning staff) has obviously gone to crap too.
I had hoped for so much more when I started with this company. Based on the service I have received from Solar Maintenance Pros, I would SERIOUSLY question anything having to do with Solar Negotiators, since the two are linked.
I was shocked and disappointed to learn today that the free cleaning I received under my contract from Solar Negotiators was ordered and conducted without my request or authorization. I was sure it was a mistake. When I called the company, I was told quite unceremoniously that my contract allows for Solar Maintenance Pros to conduct the cleaning at its convenience, not mine. Furthermore, the supervisor said she would not credit my account because this was not a mistake -- representatives had left a message (which I never received) TELLING me they would be coming to conduct the service. This is a shoddy way of doing business and any consideration I had about entering into a regular maintenance contract is now -- poof! -- out the window. I guess service really is the best advertising. Thanks, not thanks Solar Maintenance Pros.
