By Jay P.September 14, 2021Solar Panels$25,000
Can’t get a hold of the company. They came and installed the panels and broke a numerous amount of roof tiles. They never came back to hook up the system nor have it inspected as specified in the contract. We are now being double billed by the financing company and power company and are trying to find a company that can finish the job and register our system. They took our money and damaged our roof. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. This is a scam contractor.

By Jim W.August 8, 2021Put in a solar system$42,000
DO NOT USE SOLGEN FOR SOLAR!! This is the worst company I have ever had dealings with. I had their solar panels installed in January of 2021 It took until June 27 until it was completed! I asked if they did a battery back up system which the sales person said yes. I added that to my package. After two months they still did not have a batter system installed. I finally had them reimburse me for he battery system. It still took another 1.5 months to get the system inspected and another two weeks for Rocky Mountain Power to put in the net meter. Then it took another 2 weeks to have Solgen to get the system hooked up. They never did get it registered. I had to call another company to do that for me. Trying to get a response from them was like pulling hens teeth. Their service is terrible. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Don’t do business with Solgen! They tell you they have great service during the sales process, but their actual service is crap. They installed the panels and started billing me for them, but they’ve never done the work to actually get them hooked up. Rocky Mountain Power has been waiting for the inspection and and labeling photos since May. All of their numbers go straight to voicemail, and they never return your calls. Even the sales rep doesn’t respond when contacting his direct number. This company is trash, and you should never do business with them.
