My shop project was small (20'x20') compared to the norm for building companies and we had just moved into the house mid-June so I knew most of the building companies would be booked through summer. I called five companies and only two responded, Solid Structures being one of them. I went with Solid Structures because Paul (salesman) was very attentive and willing to come out to my house immediately to assess my yard and talk me through the process. He did not make my project seem small and insignificant and he answered all of my elementary questions with grace. I would ask him questions by email regularly too and he would respond promptly.
Then came Jon (contractor) and I got more of the same. Very cool guy who came out to look at the property as well when it came closer to start time answering all my questions and even accepted a last minute request to have a walkway put in from the house to the shop.
Due to being booked the majority of summer, they projected that they would be able to proceed with my shop late August early September. They began at the beginning of September and were done in 2 ½ weeks.
The payment structure was easy too and those in the office were very nice.
The overall experience with Solid Structures from start to finish was great. The open communication was a blessing for sure. They would contact me with updates and explanations throughout. From the beginning they encouraged me to contact them and ask questions whenever needed and they always responded immediately.
Very thankful for their work.

I would not reccomend this company to anyone. Neighbor came by to get their name, and I would not give it to them. Materials were delivered and sat on ground for 2 months. Poles delaminated. Were used anyway. Wrong length poles put in holes. They had to modify. Once started, weeks would go by with nobody on the job site. They couldn't get their gravel contractor to the site. Asked if I had one. He came and did a great job, and they wouldn't pay the full invoice. More than 160 days to complete project. Bad news company.
