Lately we have been heavily engaged in backup system design and installations. The most popular ones are generator backup systems but we are also a certified installer of certain brands of battery backup systems. Altogether we have a variety of options and could help you taylor a backup solution to your unique situation and budget.
We also specialize in electrical panel upgrades. Many homes still use archaic and unsafe panels that are known to increase the risk of electrical fires. We apply with PG&E, pull a permit and schedule the job in coordination with PG&E and the City or County. On the scheduled date we replace the panel and all the breakers, we upgrade the grounding and bonding systems, pass inspection and restore the power leaving you with a safe new panel where all the circuits have been identified and labeled.

Chai and Brandon replaced service panels on my home as well as that of my neighbor's home after the Glass Fire destroyed our electrical equipment. They fit us in in an exceptionally timely manner because we were living in our homes without power. Chai identified and fixed some existing problems in the wiring in my home as well as issues that had been created by other vendors who had installed my solar panels as well as an emergency generator. Cannot recommend Sonoma Sparkies highly enough!
