Sousa's Houses to Homes

Jay with Sousa's Houses to Homes is our go to contractor for jobs that are minor and for major whole home renovations, baths and kitchens. I wanted by bathtub removed, and replaced with a walk-in shower in the same footprint. This was a custom job, as I was used to the ledge on the tub, and wanted a similar "wall" built about half the outside length. Of course, there's a much lower "step-over" for the other end.
Jason listened to my idea, and figured out how to accomplish it.

As the existing room was demolished Jason found lots to fix that had been hidden before. He had to move wiring to the outdoors that had run under the tub. He found live wires behind the medicine chest. He found rotted wood, and other things that needed fixing that are too numerous to list here. He fixed it all, while consulting with me as to what needed doing.

Mostly, I was pleased with Jason's attention to detail. What did I want, how did I want it, and making it happen. Grab bars were centered, but the studs behind the tile were reinforced to be sure they were secure. He made sure the tile was laid out so it was centered as I look at it, even though it meant additional cutting since it didn't butt one wall naturally.

All the fixtures were chosen with care, with placement carefully considered (with my input and approval).

I could not be happier with my new bathroom. It is beautiful, functional, has everything I need and want. The workmanship could not be improved on.
