South Metro Basements used to be Wood & Clay Properties. I am convinced they changed the name to try to hide from their terrible reviews. DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR. He will take your money and not communicate with you, and likely never actually complete the work. If work is completed, expect that he has outsourced it to the least qualified and cheapest possible labor -- almost everything he oversaw has to be redone. This has been the case for most of his clients. We hired him in Oct. 2018 and we're still not finished. He simply didn't finish and stopped responding. Apparently that's how he operates. BUYER BEWARE.

After 50 years in the engineering, land development, and home building business this is the worst contractor I have ever seen. No project management, no supervision, subcontractors show up on job with no idea of what they are supposed to do. Poor client response. Never completed small job after four months. Issued him contract termination letter for cause. Cost $1000 + to correct poor workmanship so project could proceed.
