    Add a Carolina Room
    $21,000

WORST contractor in the state of South Carolina. Like the person above, I hired them to build a Carolina room. The contract was signed 04/22/2016, it is now 09/24/2016 and it is not even 1/2 finished. They have $14,000 of our money and just did not return to the job site. They do terrible work. The brick knee wall is crooked, so the wall looks crooked, even if it is straight. They did not attach the new roof right and I had water damage. Their response to my request for a repair was to put a fan aimed at the drywall. They eventually had to cut out the wet insulation and drywall. BUT they used the wrong paint color on the walls and painted the part they repaired in the ceiling white, not the correct color beige. The workers are PIGS. They left food, nails, and nails for a gun all over my property and yard. I did fire them and the contractors who have looked at the job. Obviously, we have an attorney and plan to sue. Hopefully, we get their license pulled before they do this to anyone else. DO NOT HIRE THEM!

Build a Carolina room and deck
    $33,000

We signed a contract with Southeastern Homecrafters on October 19, 2015, to build a Carolina room and deck. The contract states the job will start November 16, 2015, and finish December14, 2015. Here we are in August 2016 and the job is not finished yet. Sometimes we wait two to three weeks before any workers show up. When they order supplies it always comes up short so we have to wait again. The first guy they sent to do the wiring said he wasn't an electrician and didn't have staples so I went to Home Depot to get staples for him. The next guy wasn't an electrician either but he was a contractor and has done wiring before. My wife wanted bead board in the Carolina room. The first bead board they put up was the thin paper stuff you use for cabinet doors. They took it down and came up with the right stuff. The last time anyone was here to do any work was July 18, 2016. The bottom line is to stay away from Southeastern Homecrafters. They talk a good job and do nothing.

If you want any left over unused materials make sure you get them or the part owner will come and pick them up and not reimburse you, also get an itemized list of all materials and labor.. The men that shingled my roof were excellent, look at other contracters first. Ask questions about the $100.00/mth payment. Ask if all materials are included in quote. Ask for waranty when you pay not after. If you suggest another customer make sure you get the $100.00 they offer for refererring another customer. Better to check BBB before getting this contractor..
