The overall experience of working with Kevin Ocello and his team at Southern California Landscape Concepts was excellent. He communicated with both my husband and I throughout, and after, the project to ensure our questions were answered, our concerns were addressed and our "vision" was turned into reality. His team was extremely professional, pleasant and respectful of our time and property. They demolished an old brick entry as well as a concrete area in the backyard, then installed a beautiful flagstone entry and stoop. They honored our request for "big pieces" and worked hard to find and fit the biggest possible pieces together. They also planted in the front yard and installed landscape lighting in both the front and rear yards. They met our tight timeline (due to an upcoming family gathering) and stayed within the agreed budget. Kevin even helped my husband think through the design of his own landscaping project at no extra charge. We recommend them highly!

Kevin and his crew far exceeded our expectations. They took our 25 yr old sprinkler system, removed all old turf and hillside overgrown bushes, replaced with new very efficient low water irrigation drip system all around, and lastly new over 1100 sq ft of artificial turf. the whole project took over 60 days during the hottest weather of Sept. and Oct. of 2014. The crew was courteous, careful of the surroundings, and cleared up before leaving every day. Kevin has his own opinions and choice of plants but we are extremely happy with the entire project and the follow up after to make sure the irrigation system and the plants were doing as they should 6 months later.

Kevin just completed a turf removal project in both our front and back yards. The job was very complicated with drainage issues, four types of hardscape, a new drip irrigation system, tree removal and an extensive landscape plan. Kevin kept us informed every step of the way, making very useful suggestions. He is a perfectionists as are the men that are in his crew. We are very satisfied!!!

We hired Kevin Ocello and his team to redo our front and backyards and are happy with the results. Kevin and his team are great and were wonderful to work with. We are happy with the results and the timely manner in which everything was done. They dug out old plants and shrubs, planted new beautiful trees and flowers and plants, installed an entirely new and upgraded sprinkler system, seeded new grass, installed a new fence, fixed an existing fence, put in a ton of mulch and gave our entire yard a clean up. We would definitely recommend Southern California Landscape Concepts to friends and neighbors!

Kevin Ocello did a great job redoing my sprinkler system and resodding a lawn. Also, fixed a gate, built a retaining wall, and painted a metal fence. Excellent quality workmanship at a reasonable price.

We hired Kevin Ocello to fix and upgrade our irrigation, lay sod, and overhaul our flower beds. We are very happy with the results! Our front yard has been transformed into the yard we were looking for. Kevin worked with us to select the correct plants and to make sure everything was working smoothly.Kevin's team is professional, courteous, and very hardworking. The clean up was spotless everyday.

This company knows what they're doing. They installed 2500 sq. ft. of Marathon II sod, and replaced 60 or so sprinkler heads with new 4" pop-ups! They were thorough, and clear, and just perfect!

I am a general contractor that has worked with Kevin Ocello and Southern California Landscape Concepts for now going on 15 years. I know I can always count on him and his guys to get the job done right, on time and on budget. He has continually met or exceeded my needs as a business owner, and is my "go to guy" for all of my landscape/hardscape needs.

My boss referred me to Southern California Landscape Concepts, he owns about a dozen rental properties in the Conejo Valley has used SCLC for years. He introduced me to Kevin O., the owner. I'm a first time homeowner of a brand new tract house and had to do all the hardscape and landscape. Did I mention that I was really strapped financially? Mr. Ocello gave me a really fair price and did a fantastic job. He has since done several houses in my development on my recommendation and everyone has nothing but great things to say about the results.

My wife and I decided to redo our backyard a couple of years ago. We interviewed a bunch of landscape contractors after narrowing down the search we got bids from 3 of them. We decided to go with Kevin Ocello from Southern California Landscape Concepts. We could not be happier with the work Kevin did. Kevin helped us work with our pool contractor while he handled all the hardscape, new walls, fire pit, built in barbeque entertainment area, this was a huge project, Kevin was on budget and finished on time. We were so happy that when I needed work done on my Mother’s house there was no one else to call but Kevin, he was the only one I trusted. My Brother saw the work that Kevin did and had him do his yard also. If you want to work with someone who knows what he is doing is straight forward and honest then Kevin is the guy for you.

Awful awful experience. Thus so,called professional took our mine and never completed the job even though he was paid full. After numerous attempts,we gave up, however we will continue to review so others don't get taken for a ride.

I hired Kevin Ocello, of Southern California Landscape Concepts, on three very good recommendations from industry people. He just completed the first phase of my project and came in slightly under budget. Kevin Ochello was absolutely amazing. I appreciated his thoroughness of putting everything in writing as well as his follow through. No surprises! His guys were top quality and very respectful to me and my family. I'm over the top happy and have referred him to multiple friends for their landscape projects. We can't wait to have him back for the next phase!
