Southern Orchard Group built a nice home. The standard features are very nice. However, get all punch list items completed prior to settlement! If not, you will not find the builder reps having an interest in completing promised items. You will spend tons of energy trying to chase the builder and their reps down to complete the promised work to no avail. They will directly avoid you while working on other homes being built and pretend your punch list items are completed, then act surprised when you are following up on being ignored. After settlement- Kris the builder, Jeff the builder and Ashton the salesperson will give you the run around. The nice, friendly faces you once dealt with won't want to deal with you any longer after the sale. They are all about the money! They will directly ignore you. If you are lucky, they may fix the items you were promised but getting them to fix the items, will become a full time job. Eventually- due to exhaustion, frustration and sheer shock of the way you are being treated, you may give up and just complete the items on your own. Absolutely terrible customer service after the sale. Nice home... terrible builder customer service- Very unprofessional. This review is coming from a seasoned home buyer who has had four homes built in the past. Southern Orchard Group needs an independent quality control person to supervise construction and complete follow up after the sale. They get an "F" for customer service.
