Southern Seasons Heating & Air Conditioning

I would not recommend Southern Seasons Heating and Air or recommend Claude M*******. I paid for routine maintenance on my ac units and it was not completed. Claude "the owner" told me he would refund my money when I reached out to him right after he left my home. I still have his text on my phone saying he would refund my check. I asked when he would return my check and he said he was on another job. Instead of returning my check as he said he would he immediately went to the bank and cashed my check that day. Please read all reviews on this company and pay special attention to the 1 star reviews. I had a very similar experience as a couple of the reviewers also wrote about Southern Seasons Heating and Air. Claude responds to these bad reviews online by saying I never did work for this person. Claude told me my units which were operating fine before he got to my home were low on freon so he added freon. He never gave me a price to add freon which I would think would be customary before doing any work but instead gave me a bill in the amount of 690.00. I personally question whether he put any freon in my ac units as I did not see him do this and again this appointment was for yearly maintenance. My ac was working fine and cooling and was reading 74 that day when he came for routine maintenance appointment. When I questioned him after he left about adding supposedly $690 worth of freon he said his wife who was sitting in his van saw him do this. I did not see his wife in his van while he was at my home. He told me the caps were left off and that is why it needed freon and blamed the prior company I used for routine maintenance saying technicians typically do this for job security. He did not do anything to my ac units as was verified with another ac company when I had them come out to do the routine maintenance that Claude said he did but did not do. Claude will tell you the reviews are not true and possibly even blame his brother as he told me was responsible for the bad reviews. I learned a very expensive lesson and want others to be aware. One reviewer even says his company is not licensed I do not know if this is true however he did have me right the check directly to him and not the company name.
