I have been subjected to this company’s rip-off business tactics 5 times in the last year and a half... Yes, you read that right, 5 times in the last 17 months as my home warranty company uses them for heating and cooling Services. Southern Services comes out, charges me my $100 trade call fee through my home warranty, and 3 months later, I have a frozen coil, contactor issue, or whatever the hell else they come up with to charge me for this time. I pay for a home warranty for things to be fixed, but what I get is them rigged up and left to be broken again. If I need a new unit, put one in, but stop jerking me around!!! Magically it always occurs again roughly 90+ days after the last call which is out of warranty. They don’t warranty their work; they don’t stand behind what they do, and when called on it, they become belligerent in your own home! When asked about why this keeps occurring, he asked me in a condescending tone what I knew about it referencing that I was just a teacher and what would I know. Which I totally get, but apparently their company doesn’t know what it is either since I’m continually calling them to re-fix the problem! I would NEVER do business with them, and I have reported them to my home warranty company and the BBB, and at this point, I just hope to save someone else the headaches of such a horrible experience! If you have any other choice, use them! This company is AWFUL!!!

We had an air conditioner problem at our home. The tech came out when he said he was going to show up. I told him about a small amount of water leaking from the air conditioner. After 15-20 minutes of being up in the attic looking at it, he claimed he did not really know what was going on, he moved our drip pan a few inches and that to call him if anything else happens. We paid the trade fee of what the home warranty company requires us and went about our day. An hour or so later, the leak turned into what looked like a faucet dripping through the ceiling in several spots, the overhead light fixture and the small leak spots turned into huge leak spots. When I called back, they said that it was unfortunate (technically the guy said mmm, mmm, mmm) and that he could come out the next day. Hire at your own risk.
