My experience with Southfork has been terrific. The home is as I expected and any warranty issues have been handled quickly and professionally.

By Rosanne O.October 24, 2022Build a home and complete their unfinished work. Drainage , uneven carbinet$0
This the worst builders I have ever experienced. I bought my home in Jan 2022, the carbinets all have loss handles, nails are carbinet are painted shows riots, water sits in front of my garage and front yard when it rains, it is over six months now that reported these and they have refused to fix it. They a lady called Heather Woods that was suppose to coordinate the repairs , she refused to do the repairs, no phone contact She will only communicate by email only. I pray they get sue and a class action be filed against them. I wish I did my research before buying from them. I found now that they have a very bad reviews. They cut corners in the building. Carpet materials loss, carbinet sizes uneven and cannot be closed properly, drainage problems. Please someone advise what is my recourse, these wicked builder should not continue to do this to other families and get away with this. Please do not buy your precious home from them. In the summer people started selling their homes. Run from them. I’m in the process of getting an attorney now.

I have been in a Southfork home for almost 6 years now. I have had no problems of any kind. I have to laugh at the people and their negative and false claims about this builder. If they actually did build a shotty home, which they do not, wouldn't these same people who complain actually be dumb asses? If they are so knowledgeable in regards to home building, why in the hell did they buy a home to begin with? Lmao

Terrible builder. So many things wrong with our house that we’re being told where the builder cut corners. Also he’s supposed to keep up with the maintenance of our neighborhood due to him “going to finish building the lots”. He will only come up if you call every day for a month and leave a voicemail. This a terrible business and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

I purchased my 5th house and this is the 2nd house I had built. I have never seen such poor craftsmanship and poor professionalism in all my years. I purchased the home because I expected they took pride in their work. They only take pride and the bottle line. The landscaping is just as bad if not worse than the craftsmanship of the house. Water sits for days in the yard and they refuse to fix the issues. They come up with excuses and delay the process till they can find a reason not to do the work. Read your warranty well, they will find a way to not honor it. Don't ever drive anything on your yard or they will void your warranty. Even if you report the issue before you drive anything on your yard. I would never buy from this builder again. Looks like I am going to spend the extra money now and put things the way they should have been. They are lazy, and do not stand behind their work.

The new homes look nice but they definitely cut corners. When you look at details, they are grossly overlooked by the builder. They just put the houses up fast to sell them fast. Won't buy from them again. In less than 6 months, I'm ready to move. BUYER BEWARE!

Southfork Homes need to be sued 10x over for the crappie homes they build and ask for 100k up, They go out and purchase the cheapest material they can find and fix the house only for it to last a month or two and then will not return to fix $%!#. If you read this and still decide to do business with them did you get what you deserve and this is what I know first hand and seen with my on eyes. DON"T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY you will regret it majorly.

One star is generous. I have had my brand new Southfork home for about 6 years now and it’s been an absolute nightmare. I have a crack through my foundation that goes from the back of the house all the way to the front of the home due to the fact that they poured the foundation on wet mud when they were building. My yard is a total swimming pool on all sides when it rains bc the grading is absolutely horrendous. 4 months after moving in, my entire upstairs flooded bc they forgot to take out the test plug for the main line before closing. None of my doors close correctly and the outside French doors are rotting around the trim. My roof, which is a 10 year roof is nearly collapsing bc of the shoddy work. If you call for warranty work, bc all of this was there during the first year of living in the home. We’re now on year 5 waiting to hear back from them. Good luck getting through. I’m really to the point where I’d be more than happy to get a lawyer considering all the bad reviews this builder has had, we’d have a pretty decent chance of winning. Absolutely horrible. Stay away from Southfork.
