Contractor performs subpar work and hires sub contractors that perform minimal to subpar work. Sub contractors state the contractor tell them to do the minimum work on the job, just to get by and get inspections passed. Refuses to provide itemized list of materials or cost. Does not give the home owners choices or an opportunity to chose lighting fixtures, doors, etc. Framer that framed our home was not qualified. Framing work is not on scale. Walls are bowed outward. It is a nightmare. Contractor has no respect for your existing home. Contract states work site will be cleaned and all debris removed daily. This never happens, debris, nails all over yard and driveway. Homeowners have to clean up in order for your property to remain presentable. We had to hire a lawyer to send a demand letter to remind him that he has a contract. We also filed a complaint with the contractors board of North Carolina. Leaves work site unsupervised for days on end and will quit the job weekly if the property owner questions him about anything pertaining to the job not being performed appropriately. Takes your money and provides your project with cheap materials and takes left over materials you have paid for and gives them to sub contractors. Very unprofessional. Contractor caught in numerous falsehoods which is a nicer word. Not enough room on this review to place all the inappropriate actions he performs on the project. Pockets your money and does not perform the work to your specifications or in a timely manner. Hire a real, qualified contractor to avoid what we have experienced with this one.When we looked at the information under this subcontractor name he had performed inappropriate electrical work causing 379,000.00 fire damage to one location and was sending employees who are not fully trained, not supervised to locations to perform electrical services. The electrical/hvac service contractor Shamori Evans of Evans-Brown Contractor told us he could wire an entire house on one breaker. Make better choices to avoid the problems we have experienced. Contractor hires people off the street without company names or bonding to perform cheap services and he pockets the rest of the money. Refuses to give itemized cost of services, materials, supplies, sub contractor fees. Avoid the drama!!!!
