Hayk Ekshian, AIA is the principal and founder of Space & Mark LLC. He started his professional career at a small New Jersey firm designing single family homes and commercial projects. During his time at Manhattan-based PKSB Architects, he designed luxury apartments, including a roof top addition to the Puck Building, a landmark building in SoHo. Before beginning his private practice, Hayk oversaw the construction of various multifamily apartment buildings in Northern New Jersey.
Hayk has nearly a decade of experience working on residential architecture with individual home owners and developers. He graduated from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and is a registered architect in New York and New Jersey.
Hayk believes successful residential architecture is largely informed by the users and should enhance their way of living. As such, each residential project is regarded as an opportunity to create a customized set of spatial relationships for each client and site.
