Five years ago, Mr. Spalding gave us a fair bid to overlay our roof with new shingles - more affordable option than stripping off the old. My brother-in-law had questions about the length of nails used...and with good reason. Numerous shingles blew off in short order but he did replace them when called. Now, however, several sections are pulling up and there has been leakage. Despite several calls and pleas to return to the site and back up that guarantee, we have heard nothing from Mr. Spalding, and now face calling in an attorney to file a claim as well as having the roof redone at considerable expense. Would love to say he stood by his work, but that is not the case.
