Lien on my home because of George Spillmann. Took my money and did not pay sub contractor. He will not return my calls.

George Spillmann, aka, Spartan Concrete Coating is a con artist and thief! We hired him to replace a concrete drive and walk and he destroyed much of our lawn, sprinkler system and water pip;es. His rebar and forms had to be redone as his workmanshipwas shoddy and he fled the scene with Over $10,000 of our money. He is being investigated by the Calif. State Contractors License Board (4 complaints) BBB and his surety bond company. The Elk Grove PD has a warrant out for his arrest. DON'T BE SUCKED IN LIKE SOME OF US. STAY AWAY FROM GEORGE SPILLMANN AND HIS PHONY SPARTAN CONCRETE COATINGS.

We were looking into building an outdoor kitchen for our backyard landscape. George explained in great detail the process and steps involved of building us the high qualify structure that we expected along with many options that would be beneficial for our needs. George showed up as promised every day on time through the construction process and provided us the communication that we could understand. He took extra time to explain why each step of the installation was crucial for success and we were involved in the process all the way through. George and his employees were very courteous, friendly and accommodating. Let me begin with the words “committed to excellence.” Spartan Concrete Coatings Inc., George Spillmann and his men were considerate and respectful professionals from our first meeting, to daily updates, to completion of work ahead of schedule in spite of my change order to paint the house interior. Sergio is a master at painting and faux finishing. As an Operating Room RN I tend to be critical and a finish person. I must say these men and their clean-up crew passed my inspection. I would hire them again as well as recommend them to others. In fact we are hiring them to stain our exterior concrete.

We called George at Spartan Concrete Coatings and wanted a complete make over of the entire lower level concrete of our house by removing all of the carpet and hardwood. He was very thorough, well prepared, clean cut, and excited about doing our project. We, like most, had a few estimates by other contractors. Spartan Concrete Coatings set the tone and fulfilled our experience hands down. When George mentioned he is a 5th generation in the concrete resurfacing and coatings trades. We knew we were making the right choice with having and welcoming Spartan Concrete Coatings into our home. George is very polite, helpful, and informed us in every detail ahead of time. It is obvious that he is compassionate and is an artisan in conctete. All the way from scheduling the initial appointment to the final walk through he anticipated what our questions were and he made sure that all of our questions were answered. Spartan Concrete Coatings resurfaced our existing pool deck that was ugly and delaminating from a previous contractor who is no longer in business. George and his crew of craftsman performed an oustanding installation of a concrete overlay and restained our newly installed pool deck to a knock down texture finish with three different colors that looked just like real stone. George called me back within a few minutes after I initially called him and left a message on a Sunday afternoon. George has maintained ongoing contact with us like he promised during and even after the project was completed. I have recommended Spartan Concrete Coatings and George to my friends and they also have told me thank you for referring George to us and have had great success and beautiful projects installed by Spartan Concrete Coatings.
