    Install pool handrail
    $900

    They never bothered to show up to assess my request about installing a handrail. I waited over two weeks called them and gave them information again and still they didn't bother to show up

    Re-plaster pool and apply skin cost and new texture/paint to pool deck after replacing 8 sections of

    Spartan Pools did our pool deck just over a couple years ago. We had to have them come back several times to repair the multiple areas that bubbled and peeled. They used a different color on repaired areas that didn't match the rest of the pool deck and the areas repaired just over a year ago have again started to bubble and peel. Spartan Pool refused to come fix the defective areas since they state the warrantee is from the original date the deck was done, not the dates they did the multiple repairs. So I am stuck with a horrible looking pool deck that I paid a significant amount of money for because Spartan Pool does poor quality work that they do not stand behind . Very disappointed! Please beware so you don't end up in a bad situation like mine. I would send pictures if I could so you could see how bad it is!

    Build a New Pool

    Spartan Pools was the last of five pool companies we interviewed for our new pool. They were recommended by our landscaper who we have been using since 1999. We were about the abandon the pool project out of frustration dealing with high-pressure pool builders who never cared about what we wanted. Spartan Pools saved the day and we will soon have a great pool to enjoy for many years.

    Carlos is the owner of Spartan Pools and was the person we dealt with from start to finish. Our pool just finished completion and is fantastic. There are a lot of moving parts to pool construction and they were all handled well. Carlos is very honest, knowledgeable and never tried to sell us any unnecessary items. He is very low key but responsive to any questions and always made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process.

    The pool was partly constructed by subcontractors who were all very professional and efficient. There were no issues with any of the subcontractors and it was great to see how skilled they are at their craft. There are a lot of moving parts with swimming pool construction so the backyard and patio were pretty torn up for a while. We had a few minor delays but nothing out of the ordinary. The delays were mostly due to permitting or weather which is pretty typical. By the way, getting a pool permit in the City of North Las Vegas is a more painful process than a root canal without Novocain.

    Spartan Pools does not throw in a lot of the extra things other pool builders do but they are up front about it. They are totally finished with you after the pool is full with water and the site cleaned up unless there is warranty work do be done. Other companies included starting up the pool with chemicals and provided poles and basic supplies. It would be nice to have had some of the extras but we can easily purchase everything for less than $1,000. The other companies were all $10K to $16K higher and played games with the features of the pool and pricing.

    We cannot say enough good things about Carlos and Spartan Pools. They used very good equipment/supplies and did not cut any corners. Carlos answered our multiple questions and never gave us the runaround. I recommend adding Spartan Pools to your list of prospective pool companies to contact if getting a pool built or refurbished.

    Spartan Pools has just completed remodel of our pool and spa and outdoor shower. We recommend them anyone looking to have a new pool or remodel, they're professional, fast and do a wonderful job as well as being very competitive.
