We hired Spence Residential to get our house back in order after a Memorial Day 2011 flood that originated at the top floor drained 50,000 gallons of water down to the first floor and from there to the basement.. Affected areas included: one upstairs bedroom where the flood started, a coat closet, drywall and wooden floors on the first floor, drywall in the garage, drywall along the staircase and in the laundry room, and drywall and carpet in the basement. In addition, all affected areas needed to be painted as well. After ServPro took care of cleaning up the mess and dehumidifying all rooms, Jim Spence changed his schedule to immediately take care of the damage to the walls and ceiling in the garage, making it possible to air condition the house again. Jim and his crew then step by step took care of all affected areas, including replacing the hardwood floors where needed. The crew of Spence Residential worked hard and diligent throughout the project, respecting our property and making sure that the repairs fell within the budget from the insurance company. Jim and his coworkers made a very positive impression on us and we would hire him without any reservation for any other home improvement project.
