Splendid Landscaping

Anthony did an amazing job on my landscape job. My wife and I were very happy with his professionalism and excellent customer service. He was very easy to do business with and I would hire him again in an instant.

I would not recommend Anthony. Several of our plants died. He replaced them with $2.00 bushes from Aldi's. Don not hire this company.

My wife and I have been very pleased with everything Anthony has done for us. We just built a new home in 2012 and he completely landscaped the property and constructed two beautiful waterfalls on our property. I would recommend his company 110%.

I found Anthony and his crew to be very professional and punctual and their work was what I'd come to expect from a professional landscaper. Much of my front lawn was recently destroyed by birds tearing up the grass to get to the grubs. Anthony and his crew worked on the lawn as well as other bushes and trees we decided to plant since we had hired someone anyway. They worked with us to find bushes and trees that work best with our yard, ground pH levels, etc., and lifestyle, as we wanted something easy to take care of. The work they performed was above my expectations and finished quickly. The quote was reasonable, which was why I hired them rather than other local landscaping companies that were charging nearly twice as much. I would hire them again and recommend this local company to others.

I have not had any issues with this company at all. Tony explained to me exactly what I needed to do (water for example) to keep my trees and help the newly seeded lawn grow. He does offer a warranty on trees if they die, but only if purchased through him, which makes sense. How can he offer a warranty on items that I would purchase myself. Bald spots and crab grass happen, it's not a big deal. he came back to fix anything that didn't come in.

I wish I had read these reviews before I hired Splendid Landscaping. The other reviewers are absolutely correct...Tony talks a lot about what he is going to do and nothing comes of it....I have no complaints about the guys working for him, they do work hard, unfortunately they do not have anyone leading or instructing them. I would not hire Splendid again nor would I recommend them.

Please don't let the great personality fool you. He is a liar, nothing more. He sends flunkies to do the job and they have no idea what they are doing, while he is out selling other jobs. No one there has any clue about how to plant grass or trees, I guarantee that your grandmother knows more. The grass doesn't come in because they don't spread the mushroom manure, they simply drop it in a clump. The trees/bushes die because they do not dig the holes twice the size of the ball like they are supposed to. I truly have no idea how this guy sleeps at night. He is a common thief.

Same as the other review. Anthony talks a good game, but he is a typical used car salesman. He tells you what you need to hear, but never backs up what he says. He "guarantees" a great product and replacement of any plants that don't make it, but he doesn't follow through. Bald spots in the lawn, dead trees, doesn't live up to his word.

I would rate Splendid landscape with a -1. Anthony is a nice man but we were disapointed with his work. His design on paper did not actaully match the actual work. The cleanup was terrible. The lawn came in with weeds and crabgrass. 3 of our plants died and he only replaced 1 of them. I would NOT recommend them.
