Construct a large addition onto our 100 year old house.
    $96,000

Spruce Hollow Construction added on a six bay garage and mudroom to our 100 year old house. They matched the style and color to our stucco house perfectly! Everything turned out perfect and on time and budget. Very great people to work with. One of the best contractors we ever worked with. We have had so many people giving us great comment on the addition. We highly recommend these guys.

    Home remodel
    $40,000

End of September 2019: Aaron Crissman (owner of Spruce Hollow Construction) came to look at the what home remodeling we needed done and we all agreed to a Time & Material Contract at $45 per person (3 people total), per hour starting October 2019 ending January 2020. After many weeks of wrong hours being submitted by invoice, we approached Aaron with the discrepancies. Aaron said he made a mathematical error (invoice 1103) but continued providing the wrong hours.

Also, there were many, many times that we noticed our cameras would be turned around providing a security risk. One day after noticing a suspicious turning around of the camera, I approached them and told them to NOT turn the camera’s around. We have cameras up for protection and if someone broke into the house while the cameras were turned around, we wouldn’t see intruders.

12/17/19: After Aaron’s crew left early on Tuesday 12/17/19, we text Aaron asking why his employees left. No response.

12/18/19: 7:30 am came and no one from spruce hollow construction showed up. We again text Aaron and followed-up with a phone call leaving a voicemail with no response until approximately 12:30 pm. Aaron called and said his guys wouldn’t work here any longer because they felt like “criminals” and because of the conflict of the hours being off. There were only 2 weeks that the hours were close enough to not say anything.
