I had Anthony Squitieri do a replumbing in my house. This was done back in 2006 I believe. He did a good job I believe with that project. There was supposed to be a final inspection. I called him several times for the inspection and left messages. I never got a return phone call back. This was my first time experiencing anything having to have a permit. I've been waiting for about 2 or 3 weeks and I decided to go ahead and try to give him a call again. This time I used two different phone numbers and he answered the phone and I did ask him why he hasn't called me back because we needed the final inspection for the replumb that he did. He said that he was very sorry that he's been under a lot of stress that his son was diagnosed with cancer. I felt very bad for him I said no problem. Just give me a call so we can get this done.
HE never called me back and that was pretty much the end of that. Until last year I needed to get my roof redone and I went to get the permit. They said that I had something still open and I wouldn't be able to do that until that was closed. I called Anthony and I explain to him exactly what the problem was. I was trying to get a reroof done and that I needed this permit to be closed and he needed to do that. I left several messages. He never called me back. I then went back to the permit office and explain to them what was going on. They then called for me and explained that he needed to call the client because this was something he was supposed to been done you many years ago. 30 minutes later he calls me very upset, asking me how dare you let the permit office call me and you're probably just trying to sell your house and make some money. I said no not that it's any of your business but I need you to close that out so I can get my roof redone. He reluctantly wanted to come. He did come and recheck the pipes because something's changed since the time he did it just to make sure that everything was still up the code and he actually went down there and had to reopen it to the permit could get done. He did he did argue with me over the phone he said I never told you my son had cancer. I said sir my mother has passed away from cancer I would never lie about this you told me that and then never ever came back until today years later. For that I wouldn't recommend him. His work with his crew I have to say was decent.
