sheetrock and inside painting contract on new construction 5K house
    $60,000
    113 days

We entered into an agreement on new construction 5000 square feet to do sheetrock and paint using SW Duration. Sheet rock was incomplete and/or inconsistent. 20' walls show sheetrock lines due to lack of spackle wide enough.

Painting was worst. Contract called for 2 coats of Duration. They mixed primer and tried to go with a single coat. Paint was to take 2 weeks with full crew but instead they tried to get it done with 2 painters most days.

Upon last visit to project I found paint on new hardwood floors, Travertine, ceilings, dust all over the place, in short the house was trashed with paint on walls, plaster dust all over the place, inproperly prepared walls. When we complained of all the roller marks Freddy chose to blame the paint. We had his Sherwin Williams rep inspect the job and he confirmed that it's contractor failure.

We were forced to bring in another painting crew to repaint most of the house and finish the various rooms that were left unfinished so we can get our C.O. Afterwards we'll be pursuing legal action to recoup and/or recover our loses. We have photos to back up everything we're claiming.
