I echo what the others above have said. My husband/I couldn't have possibly had a worse experience with this entire building/buying experience. Peter and his "investor" Mike were probably the most unprofessional and dishonest people I have EVER encountered in any area of business. I honestly question how people like that can live with themselves day to day. I can go on for hours about the horrifying experience - beginning from the contract negotiations, the lying and deception, to the additional unplanned costs thrown in AFTER the fact, the crappy work, the unfinished work, and the fact that they have literally endangered my entire family's (including young toddlers) lives with their FAULTY work and unbelievable misses from a plumbing perspective. I caution anyone to STAY AWAY from these people.

I totally disagree with 1-star reviews below. We were very happy with Standa Construction. We had our old home torn down, and Peter built us a beautiful new home in Glenview in 2016. They were very easy to work with at a fair price. If we ever decide to build, we would use them again!
