    Full Remodel
    $260,000

    I worked with Chung Yi for over a year on a major remodel. Listen to the other bad reviewers on this site. Jennifer K. nailed it when she said "Chung is the king of excuses, so be prepared! Nothing is his fault." I caught him in straight up bold faced lies and he wouldn't just admit he had done something wrong. He's been sued in civil several times for breach of contract and lost.     He's also been brought up in front of the MHIC and lost (https://www.labor.maryland.gov/license/mhic/pdf/mhic-16-1390.pdf)
    Having worked with him for over a year, I realize why he had so many court appearances is that he honestly believes he does no wrong. This is the mindset of a narcissist. He will take your money, overcharge you and try to convince you that the blue sky you are seeing is green. Stay far away.

    We recently used Standard Construction and Coatings, LLC and was a delight. They were communicative, punctual and was easy to work with. They were able to solve issues that multiple contractors were not able to repair. They have a great artistic eye. This is our third time using them, we can see how they have grown as a company and the new changes make a massive difference.

    Bathroom remodels (2), crown moulding in multiple rooms and painting

    Used Chung Yi for a bathroom remodel in 2013. In 2015 we were still having problems and leaks from their work even though we were in constant contact. Said we were out of warranty but they never fixed the issues when we were in warranty period. Called in a real professional and issues were immediately resolved. Chung and crew are terrible at installing tile. Chung is a smooth talker but do yourself a favor and avoid him a all cost.
