    I had a job to replace the riser on our house to Duke Power's electric service, connect the line, repair and replace the electric meter. The damage was done when a storm blew over the neighbor's large pine tree onto our power line, ripping it and the meter down and away from our house.

    The man from Starr Electric who did the work on our house was reliable, effecient and thorough. He came out within an hour after our call. The bill came in under the estimate, which is always both a surprise and a joy. He came out one day, gave an estimate and came back early the next day with all the parts necessary to complete his task and was done within his stated time window.

    I was especially pleased with this man's work as I was traveling between home and Chapel Hill daily for a family member who was in hospital waiting for a heart transplant. I highly recommend this company based on my experience.
