Starr Plumbing

I was on a time crunch for a simple dye test with the sale of my property. I had arranged service from another company, waited nine days for the appointment and the company no called no showed. I reached out to their call service twice and not even the courtesy to call back. I called Starr plumbing later in the afternoon and they called back around 5pm. They had their guys at my house 8am the very next morning. I believe the gentleman’s name was Steve(sorry bad with names) that showed up. He could not have been any nicer. They were punctual and so very courteous. I wish I had called them in the first place, but will be sure to for any future needs.

Do not ever hire this company. Showed up after 10 mins of direction- the property was across the street from their office… and because we aren’t aware of traditional processes for sale of home, the owner Bob yelled at me, told his techs to leave without doing any work, and sent my calls to voicemail. I extremely unprofessional, cocky and goes out of his way to alienate clients. With many many other plumbers in the area, do no choose Starr plumbing.

There are not enough accolades or stars that I can use to describe my experience with Starr Plumbing. After a major sewer back-up in my basement, I contacted Bob Starr. He immediately arranged to have his team come and assess the situation. After 2 attempts to clear the clog, it became apparent that I needed to replace my 80+ year old terra cotta pipes. While the trench was open, it was evident that my gas line was deteriorating and also needed replaced. Bob and the crew arranged for the materials, worked tirelessly to complete the job, had the inspections done and filled in the trench. Then, they leveled out the dirt, applied mushroom manure and planted grass! Next day, they came back and power washed the entire area and collected their equipment. Bob and his crew are wonderful to work, explained everything they were doing, then did it expertly and efficiently. They are honest, knowledgeable, respectful and hard working. I would not hesitate to recommend Starr Plumbing (412-292-2325). I was married for over 50 years to a man who could fix anything, and now that he's gone, it's very comforting to know that there is a great local business that I can call when needed. I highly recommend you call Starr Plumbing for any plumbing needs or emergency.

Could not be more satisfied with Starr Plumbing. Leaking water heater needed replaced. Spoke to Bob, got options and quotes. Answered my questions well. Installed by Steve and Elbie. Superior service.!!! These guys are great ?. Explained the installation and went straight to work. New water heater installed and cleaned up in no time. Plan to use Starr Plumbing for future maintenance. If you want to support local businesses, highly recommend them.

I needed a plumber right away due to a water leak. Even though they were already busy with another emergency, they sent someone out that day. Steve and Albie were wonderful! Very friendly, kind, and professional. Explained everything in easy to understand terms. Fixed my leak and cleaned up the area afterwards. I am planning on using them for my whole home plumbing project. Highly recommend.
