    I am from Chicago, and I spent months researching a lot I wanted to build in Arizona. I found the perfect lot at a great price! I then contacted StarWood Homes to talk about building with them. they went out to the lot to take pictures and give me Price options per square foot to build with them. Then behind my back they went and negotiated a deal and stole my lot! They then sold it to me a couple of months later for a huge profit. Then had the audacity to ask me to build with them. Avoid this builder at all costs I have never dealt with a more unscrupulous company in my entire life!!!!

    Starwood was fantastic to work with. Building a home can be tedious and stressful. However, my entire team was super helpful and was there with me every step of the way. Even during all of the craziness of covid. My home turned out BEAUTIFUL! I love every room!

    Absolute pass on this company. I hired them build my new 6K+ SQFT house and it has been nothing but a disaster. They will smile and pitch you a great pitch, Jake the owner will give you the "rah rah, we always take care of our owners". However, they have ZERO pride in workmanship. They will take every short cut the can, from the foundation out of level, horrible framing, nightmare multi-sliders, failure to install windows correctly, stucco finish that looks like they hired a two year old, paint that peels off the door, electrical issues everywhere. The use the cheapest subs they can find, who then hire piece meal labors. They will sent you a change order for EVERYTHING, their cost allowances are under priced by 40-60% so be prepaid to pay at least 20% over the contract price. Before you sign a multi million dollar contract with them reach out to me and we can have a long talk, share pictures and come walk my house. Avoiding this company will save you a lot of pain and heartache.

    Starwood went above and beyond for me and my family. My wife loves her new kitchen and the kids and pups have really loved the new home. Starwood helped us stay on budget while still making sure our home fit the needs of our family.

    Absolutely horrible experience. Home was contracted to build in 11 months... still not completed
    Almost two years later. So many issues too numerous to list, many errors and some not fixable.
