    I have a Stello Custom Home in Carolina Beach and I love my house. I´ve had very few issues over the last 5 years and when I call Victor for help or advise, he personally is always there to help me. During the building process he was open to any changes I made and always listened carefully to any concerns or questions.
    I would do it again!

    Build the house
    $400

    Victor talked me into building a fortified home so I could get lower homeowners insurance. Well it's been over three years and I'm still waiting. Yes I held money at closing until he produced the certificate. I have spoken to him many times offering the hold back for the certificate. All he has to do is complete a few forms.
    I guess he has all the money he needs.
    Victor, If you read this you know who is the author.
    We are satisfied with the house but would like him to keep his word!

    Custom Home

    Post Hurricane Florence we are standing strong and very blessed. Building a Custom Home with unlimited and ever-changing design options, room dimensions, woodwork details, color palettes, HOA Architectural Review Board restrictions and Insurance Fortified Home decisions is no doubt a very daunting, challenging and time-consuming task.
    Now as we round the bend past our 1st Anniversary of Stello Construction home ownership residency, we can honestly provide high praise for the craftsmanship, sturdiness, Stello originality details and overall "timeless look" of our new home.
    We love the results yet what still pleasantly surprises us regularly are the unanimous and very positive comments we receive coming from our guests visiting our home for the first and even subsequent times. Common comment: "Blown Away!", especially from multiple high-end builders, friends, family and acquaintances...
    Was worth the time and effort. Thanks Victor!

    House build

    He tries to do everything he can to make the customer happy even if it makes his life hard -offers Hurricane rated homes and we have ridden two out with him and not a scratch .I was told by him he would always be available after the build and it’s TRUE-called him multiple times and he still comes no matter what he has going or time of day

    Purchased new home from him

    This guy is NOT a builder, he's a contractor and a lousy one at that! Don't buy from him, you will live to regret it! You'll get inferior work with low budget cabinets, countertops, aplliances, etc., etc.! He'll wait to the last day of your warranty before making repairs and send someone in who does shoddy work then you're stuck fixing it. He'll list top of the line shingles in your warranty book and 11 yrs. later when they start to fail, you'll find out the low quality shingles you got are NOT what he listed. My house is 11 yrs. old and so far I've had to replace complete heating and cooling system, garbage disposal, overhead microwave, water heater. Will be replacing peeling fascia trim and roof this year! Buy from him, you'll buy a MONEY PIT! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!

    Builda beach House

    Outstanding contractor. had him build a house for us on Topsail Island 4 years ago. His attention to detail and craftsmanship far exceed other builders. He use quality material to build a high quality house. He has a wealth of knowledge that far exceeds other builders and is a pleasure to work with.

    Build home

    I'd give 0 stars if it were possible. My experience with Stello Construction was a nightmare. Victor Stello is not a contractor, he's a builder who subs all his work out to unskilled workers and tries to cut corners every step of the way during the build. My 9 month contract turned into 20 months for the build. I would not recommend this builder to build a dog house!
