I thought this electrician was fairly decent seeing I come from a family of home builders and contractors. However, I received the bill on Friday, April 2nd by email, in which I have proof of the "sorry for the delay...". Mind you, it was a Friday. It was mailed and on Thursday the 8th he had not received it yet and threatened to hold up closing (which he legally cannot do). I had send him images from my bank that the money was withdrawn and also the check was sent so the delay was on their end and the mail. The next day, Friday, the 9th, I was informed that he is "demanding I give him $600 and the other party give him $600 and then he will refund us the money when he get it." I called the bank and they said it should have arrived or will arrive soon as the mail has been slow. I then called him that I am reporting his threat to the BBB and will not be recommending him to anyone as well as having my contractors take him off the list. I understand his frustration but he's barking up the wrong tree and going about it the wrong way. Shame on him.
