Do NOT work for or with this contractor! He has multiple unpaid L&I claims dating two years back. He’s unlicensed and uninsured. He also recently lost a crew consisting of veterans, veteran spouses and an active duty spouse due to an inability/unwillingness to pay.
When I contacted him he made it seem like he was going to pay until I wrote a negative review on his page when it reached 20 days past payment date. We came close to losing our home and even received a 3 day pay or vacate notice due to being a couple hundred dollars short from his non payment. When he found out about this he used it trying to gain leverage to make himself look good to people online and told me he would only pay if I removed the negative review and continued to tell me he was willfully withholding the payment because the “ball is in his court” now that I had a pay or vacate, he knows we have three kids, But wanted to taunt us instead of paying what he owed.

I have been involved in a number of projects in and around Whidbey Island, including Birch Tree Condos in Oak Harbor. I hired Steve to do a mono-pour
on my last project as well as walk ways, and patio at a later date. Best job I have ever encountered in the many years of construction. Once we got a date he was on time and stayed until the project was completed. For this project I used Rempel Concrete. Both the driver and Steve worked together to do this pour.
