I have used Kline Construction for many projects over many years, from ground up 4800 sq ft restaurant to venting my exhaust hood that the contractor who flipped the house failed to do. So, roughly 16 years. He is quick, reasonable prices, and always answers the phone or text.
He has gone to help my friends' when their contractor ghosts them. He assisted a client of mine with her remodel, as the first contractor did not build according to code. He completely takes the project from plans & permits to the custom counter knobs I ordered. I cannot recommend him ENOUGH!

    bathroom remodel
    $3,000

I cannot recommend this remodeler. Steve Kline was provided a detailed description of a small bathroom remodel including subcontractor time frames, scope of responsibilities to be provided and a projected completion date. In my overview of the project with Mr. Kline, I explained that I had retained an Electrician, a Plumber, and a Tiler. Mr. Kline stated that he could install the exhaust fan, electrical outlets and vanity light because he was also a licensed electrician. That license is no where on file with city or state. We discussed how the bathroom exhaust fan would be vented to the out side as per local code and Mr. Kline explained how he would achieve this by running the exhaust through to the eve of the house where there was already a vent. Mr. Kline reviewed with me how he would accomplish each task, including the types of materials he would use for each phase of the project. He provided a detailed estimate/contract which outlined the materials and labor that would be included. The first couple of days he completed the tear out, upon installation of the fan, Mr. Kline called me and said that he couldn't figure out how the fan was to be installed. The installation directions and spec sheet were in the original box with an adjustable bracket to hang the fan between joist. Mr. Kline ignored the directions, threw out the hanger bracket and rigged the installation. This was the beginning of the downward spiral. He then began to inform me of another job that he wanted to start because of the good weather, and how he would be alternating between the two jobs and work on my project when the weather wasn't good to work outside. Needless to say, my project was put on the side. He does not have experience with installing frame less cabinets and anchored the cabinet in place without removing the packaging shoes, making it impossible for the cabinet to sit flush on the floor. His estimate included painting, and he denied that it was part of his contract. He did not replace the shower enclosure with concrete board as stated in our initial consultation, he never sealed the shower enclosure as per instructed, never came back to finish the electrical, never replaced the base mouldings, never set the toilet in place and then had the audacity to say that I owed him the last installment of the payment... $635 An electrician to finish the installation...$325, trim carpenter to replace base moulding $125, painter...$300, sealing shower enclosure 4.5 hours and $125 in materials. I think Kline "Construction" needs to write me a check!

I can count my bad experiences on one hand. I have encountered many clients through out my years of business 100's of clients and projects. I am an excellent contractor my permits issued, is a small portion. and only local. This woman in my opinion was looking for a guy to swoon over her and take care of her honey do list. This is an exaggeration. Sorry I am not fitting into your mold. I can counter your BS with 50 to one positive, not to mention the times I have helped single women similar to you. That in the real world actually got screwed. The bathroom is in and finished I assisted up to the last day. You ran me off to complete the project differently and did not pay me. Your one in a million.

    Commercial Renovation

Steve turned our space into an inviting and functional hot yoga studio using our philosophy of "less is more." He was a pleasure to work with; generally responsive, attentive, and eager to help facilitate the process in any way he could. He went above and beyond to ensure that the project was completed on time, and he built a beautiful wall with deep set windows and charm. I would recommend Steve to anyone looking to have the job done right.
