Searching for general contractor to build a three story addition can be daunting. We interviewed three GCs and were not very comfortable about the experience or confidence of any. There was an insurance issue, none new how to build a budget with a spreadsheet and I just didn’t feel great about any of them.
While having my oil changed, I confessed to the manager I was having issue with finding a reliable GC. He made a call and Steve Smith was in front of me in 27 minutes. We found Steve to be very knowledgably with technology, design plans, budgets and schedules. Steve’s vision was to build 1,750 additional square footage with a slab pour, a new shed roof line and new HVAC system. It was a great experience.
