I hired Steven Bodek to install new windows. While he sourced the windows well and roughly stayed on schedule the installation of them has been poor at best. Total project cost was well over $10,000. Since that time I've experienced major leaks, complaints from the HOA about rotting molding, and paid over $5,000 to another contractor to fix them. The new contractor's reaction was priceless "wow- these windows were installed very poorly." I reached out multiple times to the Steven Bodek team to get help but did not get a response.

Steven Bodek and his team are nothing short of amazing. Starting from the day he came to take a look at my project, he took the time to really explain the process and encouraged me to ask questions. Ashely was there every step of the way to help organize each phase and to provide updates. Both of their attention to detail, organization and overall kindness and patience are unmatched. Steven even took time to look at several other issues I was having with my house unrelated to the original project and provided solutions each problem. My bathroom has exceeded my expectations and I am beyond thrilled with the end results. I would highly recommend Steven Bodek Inc. to anyone considering home renovations.

We hired Steven Bodeck for our kitchen renovation. There was a significant issue early on in the project which resulted in the 4 week project being delayed by an additional 10 weeks. We could have forgiven the original mistake, but the effort to resolve the issue and the communication from the contractor from that point on was unsatisfactory. I would not recommend this contractor.

We have executed 6 major home projects in 40 years and have never had a bad experience—until Bodek. He is now working at A. Field construction, so beware. Hired Bodek to renovate our historic home and he was clearly overwhelmed, disengaged and unqualified. Expensive lighting that was checked in onsite disappeared. Tried to mark up a $3k shower door to $11k. Known for leaving ranting, horrific messages for his clients. He left out house open and exposed for weeks. Installed doors incorrectly and never installed the hardware he picked up from the supplier (that we paid for). Installed an expensive new water heater incorrectly that had to be replaced two months later (plumber said he had never seen such unprofessional work). Fired all his quality subs and hired workers who didn’t speak English and therefore couldn’t read basic plans. Bodek provided little supervision on site and extremely shoddy work. Blew off meetings. Fought with our neighbors. We fired him and spent tens of thousands fixing his mistakes. He couldn’t even paint properly. At least two neighbors also had terrible, expensive experiences.
