I had Steve remodel my basement. He’s a very personable guy, but his work is not high-quality. He seems to try to cut corners. The laminate flooring buckles near tub; shower runs when it’s supposed to only be the faucet running; ceiling fan is not securely attached; bathroom sink top was not secured and does not have caulk; and there are other issues. He doesn't pay attention to details either--like I have bronze fixtures everywhere else, so why did he use a silver door stop? He does work and doesn’t keep you informed about costs and then wham! the project is way more than you planned. And when asked why he didn’t consult you about added costs, he’ll say stuff like “we had to keep the work going.” He's not a bad guy, but I would NOT recommend him for projects, at least not big ones.
