Do NOT hire this man! He didn’t show up for the job when he said he would and didn’t contact me. Finally told him to forget about it. TV he next morning I left the house for a couple hours and came home to find his “helper” up on a ladder in a lightening storm. He was nowhere to be found. Told the poor guy to get down and come in the garage (Steve had left him here with no vehicle to find shelter in) while I came in and called him. At that point, what I SHOULD have done was refused to pay him since I had already told him to forget it. I asked him repeatedly for an itemized bill and my receipt. He made numerous excuses and was unwilling to provide the paper work. This is some very shady behavior. Better to pay more and go with someone reputable. Learned my lesson the hard way.

One star only because zero stars isn't an option. Poor work ethic. Took over 2 weeks to do a 1 or 2 day job. Kept leaving to work on incomplete jobs elsewhere. Didn't do a section of downspout on one side of our house, saying he misunderstood what we wanted yet we'd talked extensively with him about how we'd like it done due to the use of a rain barrel a few months in the summer. Another problem area we discussed extensively with him was the old gutter on the deck roof leaking. He assured us it was an easy fix, yet it still leaks horribly. He promised to return to finish the job and didnt. When we attempted to contact him he blocked our phone numbers.
We DO NOT RECOMMEND STEVE KEMP FOR ANY CONTRACT WORK.

He installed new gutters and downspouts. He said he would provide great service after the install. He lies. I spoke with him about 3 weeks after install to come and fix leaking gutters. Said he would be there in 2 days. Called him again in 2 days still no show. It has been 3 months. Still NO SHOW. NO SERVICE AFTER THE SALE. DON'T HIRE HIM TO DO ANYTHING AT YOUR HOUSE.
