With Stillwater Construction , you work directly with me, the owner. I was raised here in Bend, and have 18 years experience professionally managing and executing new custom home builds and higher-end remodels and additions. I take a cost-conscious attitude and pair it with a business-minded approach. I believe that constant client communication and well-scheduled planning makes a project successful. I also believe that exceptional results can be obtained with creativity and ‘smart’ choices, rather than spending a ton of money.
I have built over 90 new homes in the Bend, Seattle, and Portland areas as a small-to-mid-size developer/builder. I’ve served in roles varying from site superintendent to project manager, estimator/purchaser, and design & spec selection. I’ve personally built or remodeled 6 of my own homes, so I know what it’s like to write checks each month as a client building a home.
I grew up here in Bend, and have a wonderful wife and 2 young children. When I’m not working on your house or at home with my family, you’ll find me mountain biking, running on our trails, fly fishing, or skiing.

He clearly cut corners that have left us with over a $100,000 in additional expenses after only 3 years after the house was built. And Bart has ignored any efforts to help us fix things. And we have met other people who Bart built homes for and have similar expensive deficiencies.
