The worst experience ever with a contractor! I had popping in my breaker box knocking my electricity off . Have a Natural gas Generator which would not come on, Mr, Lunsford Stopped the popping and got the electricity on, He then told me the Breaker Box needs to be changed out, I was taking a chance of burning my house down, I told Him this breaker box was only 5 or 6 years old. He said it was wired up wrong. He gave me a price of $3150.00 which included running 2 new lines in the attic, I told him I needed a 20 amp wall plug in the wash room also, I asked him to give me the estimate in writing. He came out the next day at noon and started work, I again asked for a written estimate, He ignored me, The next day He finished the job and told me he was finished, He said I didn't need the 2 new lines which was included in the oral bid so I asked him to make an adjustment for the difference since He did not do what he promised,he said I owed him $3150.00. I then asked him about the wall plug, He said Oh Yes , went into the wash and was finished in approximately 7 minutes and said that will be $200.00 more. I said 4200,00 for a 20 amp plug.Why? He said sarcasticly because I''m putting my life on the line and I know what I'm doing! We argured then He quit talking to me and went to My Wife and Daughter and My wife wrote him a check! I asked for an itemized statement. He said We don't do that anymore and I said well I want one. All he would give me was a peice of paper stating Parts $400.oo plus and Labor $2800,00 plus. This was done April 2021 and I have asked Him numerous times to give me an itemized bill plus an adjustment. I figuered He owes me an adjustment of approx. $1300.00 considering the outrageous $200.00 for the wall plug and two lines he vervallly bid to do, Ed G
