Omg!!! Everyone who he wronged needs to report him! He’s a scam artist!! We reported him to attorney general after scamming us and taking our money without any work being finished , I found out few others have too. We definitely feel stupid for trusting him but someone’s gotta stop him from scamming more people.

Same issues as previous reviewers... Bob was contracted in late April to complete a home-expansion project. After 110 days, of which he or his workers were on site for <10 and made very little progress... Bob cleaned out the site in 4 hours (disassembly of concrete forms, removal of all material and tools) and has stopped returning my calls, texts, and emails. I have not yet received a refund for services not performed.

#BEWARE. Awful company. Bob says he will "make it right " even offers lifetime warranty.. but ghosts after payment. Job half done.. debris everywhere. Also has over 100k in small claims judgements still unpaid. Join the list of the scammers that claim their company is "Veteran owned" . Be warned... will take your loved ones money and give subpar service. Even after verbal and written admission job not done properly.

Project: Tear out old garage/build new garage with added concrete slab for basketball court behind garage: Had a horrible experience with Strong-Back construction and owner Robert Mills. Contract start/finish dates were May 30th to June 30th. Started out fine, but by Jun 5th all work stopped. Got broken promise on Jun 13th to resume work. Didn't see Mr Mills at my project site until Jun 25th when I had to get the building inspector involved (Mr. Mills was fined for no wrecking permit). I was given another broken promise to resume work. Haven't seen or heard from Mr. Mills since Jun 25th. Talked to several other customers who were having similar issues with Strong-Back construction. Filed claims with the local Attorney Generals office and Mr. Mill's Insurance co. (thank goodness he did have a bond). After giving Mr. Mills over 3 weeks to correct the situation, which he failed to do, his insurance co settled my claim on Jul 13th and refunded my down payment. I would not hire Robert Mills/Strong-Back construction to place a stick in the ground for me, BEWARE!

Strong Back builders with Bob Mills were building a studio and garage, which had burnt down May 9th 2017. I made a mistake back in Sept or Oct in paying Bob Mills for the completed building, before it was finished. I have made many calls to Mr Mills. The last time I could get him to answer a call with my concerns was before Thanksgiving 2017. He said they would be up Monday or Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Here now on May 10 2018 he still hasn't gotten back. The hardware on the garage door has not been put on. On the back side of the building there is a large bulge on it. When I looked there are 2x 4 studs that do not have the plywood nailed to the. There are 4 studs that they missed hitting when they put up the plywood. I would never recommend Bob Mills for any building job.

I was taken for $18,000. He knows that once he starts a project it looks like he will do the job. He takes half down and pockets it. Prosecutors won’t touch the case or at least not the Johnson county one. BEWARE. He needs to be I. Prison. Terrible person!!!!!
