    Framing project

    The contractor built the lower floor of the home addition 2 ½” higher than the adjoining floor of the house. The contractor stopped and started fixing the mistake multiple times, finally, the owner Radu Binzari called to tell me he was losing too much money and was stopping work. The next morning, one of the carpenters came a little before 8 AM and collected all of their tools, including the microwave oven the workers were using to heat their lunches. The carpenter was even on his cell phone, checking with another person to make sure everything was collected. It was supposed to be a 2-week job, it has now been over 9 weeks.

    The guy I was supposed to meet never showed up for appt, despite their office having called me the day before to confirm. Not great at communicating and poor way to make first impression.
