    replace roof
    $16,000

Be very careful in hiring this company!!! We hired Structured to do our roof after having success with the foundation side of the company and regret it! Sales was very deceptive on "BEST PRACTICE", codes, pricing, telling us they would work with insurance for hidden damages, reflash the chimney & skylight and make it look better than before. They were by no means the cheapest and we chose them because we felt it would be done right, and never have problem with a reputable company. The day of install and half our roof already torn off, we start to find out just who we are dealing with. The salesman showed up 2 hours after the crew, and I was told he forgot something on the charges and needs to be added roughly $300 extra for removal of felt underlayment. This is after a sales contract had already been signed by both parties, and during his initial inspection he stopped what he was doing to inform me of the double layers of felt that needed to be removed before we ever hired them. During this whole process I asked several times about the cost to replace decking and it would have to go through insurance to recover the cost, and was finally told when all of it was done a specific price and how many sheets were used. We then received the invoice almost double the amount we actually owe for this extra hidden cost and that we would need to send that to our insurance company that they would NOT be doing this for us as stated very matter of fact. Once we demanded they keep their word and correct the mistakes in amounts being changed were they even willing to work with our insurance, and reduce the charges excluding the extra charges for removal of felt and the correct amount for the decking.

All of the turbine vents for the attic space in our home were installed in wrong locations and had to be corrected taking multiple phone calls to get this done as the crew was already packing up to leave, and no one from the company was even here to oversee the job, just the 3rd party contractor that did the work. It was admitted that they shouldn't have booked another job the same day that took our salespersons attention and left our job unsupervised. Damages were done to our gas furnace vent through the roof, somehow it was broken or cut off at roof level, and flashed with the type T vent for a kitchen vent a hood or bathroom fan, and one of the 90s in the pipe was broken due to the weight of the double walled pipe! Now we have been told they will not accept any liability for this unless we can show proof that they did it, after being told that it would be made a priority and get it take care of immediately. Most people do not walk around taking video footage and pictures while a job is being performed, you trust the company to do the right thing, especially a reputable company!

Our skylight was installed wrong with flashing so high it caused a gap down the right side of the skylight allowing our AC/Heat to escape, and hornets coming in our home. Their original contractor refused to come back and fix this and they had to hire a skylight company to fix this, who told me the job was done so poorly that it would have definitely ended up leaking! That's great news from someone that Structured hired to fix their mistake!

There were shingles nailed so tightly together and crooked that the corners were pushed up like tee pees on the ends of the shingles and took 3 different sets of eyes from their crew to finally get that taken care of, surprised they didn't blame me for that to, that I somehow distracted their crew and caused them to make these mistakes.

The aluminum softit and fascia repairs that a handyman was hired to do look like I did it myself. We were told it would look great and a rep from Structured has stated she would want someones head on a spike if it were her home. They have denied accountability for the damages done to the counter flashing on our chimney as well, that we paid to have redone last year was nice and neat clean not a problem at all and now has been beat on several times and covered by a fresh coat of paint trying to hide it, and saying it wasn't part of the job and they aren't touching it again. This after having shown them pictures of before and after, stating it was clearly damaged and had tool marks from their crew trying to put it back in shape, and then coming back damaging it further. Never thought I would need video evidence of damages to prove that it was done by them. No one has touched it besides them, like we damaged things to make them look bad, the whole argument is ridiculous!
