  Asphalt driveway

  If I could give zero stars, I would. My mother used Studio4 (a.k.a. Tribeca Masonry) to have her driveway redone with 3” of asphalt, as our invoice from them stated. Unfortunately, within weeks of the work being completed a significant portion of our driveway began leaching a brown substance after every rainfall. It leaves awful stains on the driveway once it’s dried that NEVER come out. Tribeca directed us to power wash the driveway as many times as it takes to remove the stains. We listened to them and had to power wash it so many times to the point where the pieces of asphalt have now ripped off causing permanent damage. And no, the stains never went away. Luckily my mother frequently took photos of the work in progress and after looking closely, it is CLEAR that one inch or less of asphalt was poured at this leaching location. And who knows if they underpoured the entire driveway! For several weeks we have reached out to Tribeca and they made a couple visits to the house trying to say the stains are for other unrealistic reasons. We came to the point where we kindly asked that they either provide us additional photos showing that there are in fact 3” of asphalt everywhere and that’s when they stopped answering our calls and messages completely. We also politely told them if they can’t provide us photos than we’d like the driver way redone since you did not provide us with the product that we paid $25,000 for. We did not want to go down a legal route to resolve this but they are leaving us with no choice since they completely ignore us and left us with a driveway that is worse than what we previously had. A very unprofessional company that I would not recommend to anyone. There are many other companies out there that will provide you with much better workmanship, professionalism, and respect.

  This company also uses the name Tribeca masonry. I tried leaving a complaint with The Better Business Bureau and was told that the license number directs them to this new company name Possibly running away from bad reviews. They did my asphalt driveway after charging over $30,000 and wont admit they laid 1 inch rather than three inches. Have had staining from day one. They ignore my calls and texts. Will be bringing them to court the start of the new year. Horrible company. Beware!
