Absolutely terrible service!
I contracted with Sudden Comfort to upgrade my air-conditioning/heating units. Oh was I wrong in my choice. The contractor installed both interior and exterior units however never made them work together. He does not respond to phone calls or e-mail. And when he does he schedules an appointment and never shows up. After paying him close to $6000 to upgrade the system I am left with incomplete installation, no maintenance service (which was part of the contract).

I am not a picky or demanding person. All I wanted was a new boiler. In my 62 years, I have dealt with a lot of contractors and Sudden Comfort is one of the most dishonest businesses that I have ever dealt with. I called them out to do a simple one-for-one fuel oil boiler replacement in mid-October 2015. Today, 19 February 2016, the boiler is finally working properly… after I called out another company to make it right. Cost was $378 in addition to the $5600 I had paid to Sudden Comfort for delivery and installation. Sudden Comfort does not answer phone calls, charged my credit card without permission, does not return messages, left a mess in my basement and just purely lies to his customers about nearly everything. We had to suffer with 59 degree heat in our house during a sub-zero cold snap. I am so disgusted with this company’s behavior, I am considering legal action. Is it really necessary for it to take FOUR MONTHS to get a new boiler installed and running properly? Sudden Comfort never fixed the problem, I called another company and their professional technician had the boiler running properly in under 2 hours. Sudden Comfort should not be in business.

Horrible person and business. Took our deposit, ($10000) then did very minimal work. Will not answer the phone, emails! Fired him-we are currently going through the court system to get our money back. Please do NOT use Sudden Comfort! Chuck is not a nice person!
