    i liked him... but he does not want to fill out the itemized bid for the SAFECO Insurance water damage from winter ice/snow damage. They require his acceptance of THEIR estimate, or to fill their own bid, and submit to SAFECO prior to work being started. He does not want to take the time to write an estimate. Bend Oregon has so much NEW CONSTRUCTION....the handy men, and contractors can refuse to play ball... on repairs, on insurance work. Chris was very nice... too bad... it did not work out...

    Karen Im sorry you feel this way. We were unable to perform the required work for what the adjuster and insurance company offered. With multiple claims we wanted to meet with the adjuster as quite a few items were missed in there first evaluation and with the subsequent claim from another contractor causing more damage there was alot of areas that needed clarification from the insurance company. We offered and wanted to meet the adjuster onsite. We represent our clients in these circumstances and the adjusters working for the insurance companies do not always have your best interest in mind. Just submitting an estimate that is not accepted does no one any good and is often the case if the adjuster is not workable and savvy to our market or fully understands the damage. We can not help the insurance companies adjuster not being willing to meet or the amounts they were willing to pay. Im sorry we were unable to work within the insurance companies bounds and assure you as we discussed in detail we would and do have extensive estimating and approval process as soon as we knew what claim covered what scope. Its absolutely has nothing to do with new construction or the volume of work in Central Oregon. Im positive if the insurance company would have worked with you/us you would have rated our work and the experience very highly
