    We hired Sunset Drywall for a complete home remodel and garage. In total, over 14,000 sq / ft of drywall was hung. They were quick to deliver materials and collect a check. After a week delay from planned start date, one crew showed up to start hanging drywall. They did maybe 30% and then stopped showing up. A few days later they would show up again and do another section. Once the drywall was finally hung, another set of guys came in to do the mud and taping. Again the same thing, they would do a little bit and then not show up for days. We are 10 weeks in and they still have not completed the job. Sunset Drywall has submitted invoices for completion and asking for payment. we have not signed off on the completion as items are still not completed. They said they would not send anyone out to finish the job unless we paid the invoices. Sunset basically hires sub contractors to do the hanging, taping and finish work. The do not supervise their subcontactors and made only 4 or 5 jobsite visits to look at the work completed. Thus many many errors and issues had to be fixed which caused many many delays. Very frustrating. The last subcontractor they sent is very diligent and is doing a good job, but it is taking much longer to fix and complete the original workscope on the contract. We are now on week 11 with probably another weeks worth of work provided that they show up everyday. Aside from the time delays which has put the project 6 weeks behind schedule, they are EXTREMELY messy and do not clean up. drywall scraps everywhere. We spent hours each day cleaning up their mess. The tapers and mudders were even worse. We have mud tracked all over our exterior stamped concrete and trash, cigarette butts throughout the interior. Very disrespectful and again, no supervision or job oversight from Sunset Drywall
